Former White House speechwriter Curt Smith authored a political history of baseball called "The President and the Pastime: The History of Baseball and the White House," which the Chicago Tribune calls a "deep dive" that showcases how America's greatest pastime served as symbolism its nation's presidents.
The book also received praise from the Galveston County Daily News, which called it "a sunny book and a perfect summer read."

Just a quick note to say that it has been great working with you on the PR campaign for NO More Heart Disease. The morning drive time radio tour was a very effective way for us to get our message out to the right audience. I'm looking forward to the next one!
