“Gulp” by Mary Roach Makes Oyster’s “100 Best Books of the Decade So Far” List

MEDIA CONNECT client Mary Roach’s non-fiction science book Gulp: Adventures in the Alimentary Canal made Oyster’s list of “100 Best Books of the Decade So Far.” The modern literary magazine compiled a list of the editors’ favorite books from the past five years that resonate in their “pursuit of some kind of truth.” Gulp made the list at #68.

Roach is the author of best-selling books including Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, and Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void.  She has been deemed “America's funniest science writer,” by The Washington Post.
