Media Connect executed a successful public relations campaign for Winning the War on Cancer (Morgan James, 2018), a debut book by Sylvie Beljanski. It reveals the visionary discoveries of a French scientist whose suppressed research led to improvements in the prevention and treatment of cancer... naturally and without toxicity.
Traci Stein, Ph.D., MPH, a health psychologist for several decades, engaged the services of Media Connect to promote her book, The Everything Guide To Integrative Pain Management (Adams Media), and a series of instructional CDs. We presented her to the media as an expert on health, stress, and healing. We generated dozens of media placements for her.
MEDIA CONNECT executed a platform building campaign for Dr. Glangchai along with a launch campaign for her book, VentureGirls: Raising Girls to Be Tomorrow’s Leaders published by HarperCollins in May of 2018. The book contains practical information and insights on how parents can raise their daughters to be entrepreneurial risk takers, especially in the STEM fields. Receiving high acclaim, the book was a solid success landing on the USA Today, Washington Post, Publishers Weekly and IndieBound Booksellers Bestseller lists. MEDIA CONNECT was also able to arrange for a speakers bureau to take on Dr. Glangchai as a client.
MEDIA CONNECT conducted a boutique publicity campaign for The Memo (Berrett-Koehler Publishers) by John Hope Bryant that resulted in extensive print, national web, TV, radio, digital media, and event coverage. Media spanning personal finance, politics, poverty, and race issues took an interest in Bryant’s revolutionary new view on the “invisible class” in America. Bryant and his organization, Operation HOPE, are based in Atlanta, GA, but The Memo was featured across the nation.
MEDIA CONNECT conducted a boutique campaign for Silicon Valley insider Mike Hoefflinger’s book, Becoming Facebook (April 2017). The book tells the fascinating story of Facebook’s coming-of-age as one of the world’s greatest companies. A computer engineer turned marketing innovator, Hoefflinger joined Facebook at the start of 2009, fresh from Intel. For seven years, he worked closely with COO Sheryl Sandberg on growing Facebook’s advertising business and, with thousands of other insiders, contributed to Zuckerberg’s mission: making the world more open and connected. It is a riveting business memoir rich in practical lessons. MC executed a national campaign with an emphasis on traditional media (print, TV, radio) and online outlets.

TESTIMONIALS
Your teleseminar on how to get publicity from putting on a teleseminar, with guest expert Dan Janal, was excellent. It was jam-packed with information one would need to host his own teleseminars. You did a great job of bringing out the best in your guest presenter. I will tune in again.
